Dr Davae has practiced psychiatry since 2009 in the outpatient, inpatient and emergency psychiatry arena.

Dr Davae currently focuses on outpatient services, and especially ketamine therapy via an integrative approach utilizing supportive/insight oriented therapy along with guided relaxation and therapeutic music/sound during the sessions. Treatment areas of focus include: depression, generalized anxiety disorder, PTSD, social anxiety, LGBTQ identity challenges, OCD, dependent personality disorder and adult ADHD.

Dr Davae incorporates a mind/body/spirit treatment perspective propelled by her osteopathic background and Ayurveda interests. Whilst pharmacotherapy is often the main treatment intervention, the aim is to minimize long term psychopharmacology via consideration for holistic interventions such as nutraceuticals, sound healing, psychodynamic/CBT/supportive psychotherapy, yoga and pranic breathwork practices; additionally, to be open to evolving new treatment technologies such as virtual reality and neurofeedback based internet-of-things (IOT) aides for mental wellness.

Dr Davae maintains interests in yoga/meditation , VR gaming, DJing and electronic music production. The word “doctor” stems from the Latin ‘docere’ (= teacher) and Dr Davae is also volunteer clinical faculty at UCSF school of medicine.

Dr Davae is of Indian heritage, born in Africa and grew up in the UK before emigrating to the US.
