Getting here
Transit
Downtown Berkeley BART is the closest station, about a half mile north. Ashby BART is roughly 0.7 mile south. AC Transit lines 18 and F stop at Shattuck & Dwight (one block away); line 36 runs on Dwight Way; line 12 stops at Dwight & Milvia. Sutter operates a free shuttle (Route 1) between Milvia, Herrick, Alta Bates, and MacArthur BART every 40 minutes on weekdays from 5:30 AM to 8:40 PM.
Parking
Free valet at the main entrance. Additional patient parking is available in the Milvia lot across from the campus, with the Sutter shuttle running between them.

Entrance & building
Inpatient admissions go through the Emergency Department or by clinical referral. Day-treatment (PHP/IOP) and ECT patients should follow the arrival instructions provided at intake; entrance and check-in vary by program.
