Bio

I’m a psychiatrist who grew up in the Bay Area and studied neurobiology at UC Berkeley before earning my medical degree from the University of Vermont. I completed my residency with the County of San Mateo, where I worked with people dealing with a wide variety of issues.

My approach is simple: listen carefully, without judgment, and offer practical tools grounded in evidence to help people move toward lives that feel freer, less burdened, and more meaningful. I often draw on mindfulness-informed frameworks, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, to make sense of psychological suffering and guide my work with patients.
