BPA Physicians

Bio

I work with patients with a wide range of mental health issues, including depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, PTSD, ADHD, and psychotic illness.  I have clinical interests in treatment-resistant depression and interventional psychiatry. I have conducted clinical research at both the NIH and UCSF studying ketamine in humans and have numerous publications in this topic. I have also worked on a study at Johns Hopkins involving psilocybin. I enjoy helping patients find treatments that work for them, whether that be novel medications, ketamine or transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS).

I also have an interest in LGBTQ mental health care and am happy to provide care for patients anywhere on the queer-spectrum.

On a more personal note, I enjoy hiking, travel, sci-fi and fantasy novels, and philosophy. I look forward to meeting you!
