Bio

I work with adults experiencing a variety of mental health challenges including depressive disorders, anxiety disorders, OCD, bipolar disorder, and trauma-related disorders. I believe that all individuals have an innate capacity to heal, and I aim to connect each person with this capacity.

I use a wide variety of treatments including psychotherapy (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), supportive psychotherapy, psychodynamic psychotherapy), medications, ketamine therapy, and neurostimulation techniques (transcranial magnetic stimulation, TMS) to provide comprehensive care that integrates the frontiers of neuroscience with a patient-centered approach.

My additional areas of interest include psychedelic medicine, integrative medicine (yoga, meditation, nature therapy), metabolic psychiatry (the impact of nutrition and exercise on mental health), and end-of-life/palliative psychiatry. I am committed to understanding the impacts of race, gender, culture, and class on mental health, because I believe oppression often perpetuates psychological suffering.

I’m deeply curious about each individual’s personal story, and the meaning assigned to this story. I believe in a collaborative approach to care that centers the patient-physician relationship and seeks to promote a culture of safety, trust, autonomy.

I view my work as an immense privilege and hope to be a part of your journey towards recovery and a sense of lasting well-being.
