COVID-19 (Coronavirus) Updates

Health & Safety

Your health and safety will always be our highest priority, and now, as always, it is important for you to get effective, personalized care. Recognizing that the COVID-19 outbreak is evolving, the physicians of Bay Psychiatric Associates are assessing the situation, always with the goal of continuing to provide the best care possible while doing everything we can to reduce transmission of the virus.

We are using a simple and secure platform to provide individual outpatient appointments via telepsychiatry. Your physician and administrative staff can work with you to help you with this.

For Ketamine/Spravato and TMS therapy, we are carefully weighing the risks, benefits, and alternatives for each patient on an individual basis. We are continuing to evaluate new patients for all of our services. Our doctors are here to discuss your treatment plan with you. You can reach us at 510-843-2220 to discuss your care.

For those coming into our offices or the hospital, we ask that you adhere to the CDC guidelines to reduce transmission: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/prevent-getting-sick/prevention.html

For hospital-based services such as inpatient psychiatric hospitals, substance abuse treatment, partial hospitalization/day treatment or ECT, these programs do remain open at this time, and have their own guidelines and programs in place to provide care while minimizing risk of viral transmission. You may contact Alta Bates Summit Medical Center at 510-204-4444 for updates on a specific program.

We are so grateful to be your partner during these uncertain times. As always, if you are in need of emergency help, please call 911 immediately. Someone is always available to help.
