A Closer Look At The Mind-Body Connection

Have you ever burnt your hand on a hot pan...or accidentally cut yourself while shaving? These are fairly common incidents that many of use have likely experienced a time or two before. And, when they happen, we quickly react to the physical pain. We run our hand under cold water to relieve the burn and we address the cut by stopping the bleeding before moving on with our day. Why is it that people are so responsive to physical pain but sometimes hesitate to treat emotional pain?

A TMS Technician’s Experience of our Healthcare Team
